Used only 3 times and the IS L version of this lens was announced. On a 5D mk2 (my camera), this I need IS for portraits and handheld macro shots.

After reading reviews of this lens, I’ve decided on selling my primary macro (bought in September 2009).

The Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro Lens is an excellent macro lens – and may be Canon’s most fun per dollar lens. This lens is highly recommended for someone starting out in macro photography.
